“If I must boast, I would rather boast about things that show how weak I am.”
Paul was a very interesting man. We know his history before Christ, his deeds and as well know his deeds after he met Christ and this guy gave his life a 180 degree turn. A great testimony to be told, in my opinion. The chapter as a whole is quite interesting. Paul talked about false preachers and what he would say if he were to boast – he was ‘acting’ like a fool.
Verse 30 really struck me because of the depth of the statement. People feel ashamed of what they’ve done and what they’ve been through and do everything in their power for others not to know. But little do you know that testifying of you escaping from a toxic relationship can inspire someone to do the same. Talking about how you came out from jail and made a life for yourself will inspire someone in jail about to come out. Talking about your suicidal inclinations and how you overcame them and now have so much value for yourself can inspire that was once in your old shoes.
My Church has this branch of partnership called Healing School. It’s a beautiful thing. People from around the world who have sicknesses and illnesses of all kind come to the healing school and are healed of their infirmities.

It’s wonderful to see the power of God at work in people’s lives. My mom was one of those people and she’s alive and healthy today!
What I’m trying to say in essence is that we should boast in our lows and weaknesses. Share our testimonies. They’ll inspire somebody someday. You never know. You may the reason why someone decided to hold on.
