“The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.”
God never promised that the Christian life would not have obstacles (John 16:33), but He promised that He will never leave nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). He also told us to be bold and courageous (Joshua 1:9).
With that being said, don’t be a Closet Christian.
The world may hate you, but you have known the truth, and the truth has set you free. Once you’re born again, you’re a special breed-you’ve been chosen out of the world and separated into your new life of glory. And a city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
So live the life that you’ve been called to live; a life that aligns with God’s Word and will. Be bold and unapologetic about your relationship with Jesus.
He died for you in public, so don’t live for Him in private.
