Lord, help me to surrender it all to You. Not just the things I’m okay with surrendering but the things I’m holding onto and can’t let go of. Help me to move on from these things and not let them cage me.
Jesus, You came to set the captives free and I believe that I’m free indeed. Nothing is holding me back but myself now as I allow myself to hold onto what You have already worked out.
It’s not easy to surrender. All the worries and doubts, the thoughts that feel overwhelming. Sometimes I feel like I can’t handle it all.
That’s when I choose to surrender to my Lord. When I choose to lay down my burdens because You care for me. Oh Lord, teach me to let it go. Just let it go, and let go of it all. Let my trust be completely in You. Let my flesh not try to grab back what I have given.
