Psalm 70:2-3

O Lord, Do Not Delay
To the choirmaster. Of David, for the memorial offering.
70 Make haste, O God, to deliver me!
O Lord, make haste to help me!
2 Let them be put to shame and confusion
who seek my life!
Let them be turned back and brought to dishonor
who delight in my hurt!
3 Let them turn back because of their shame
who say, “Aha, Aha!”
David wrote this psalm because he needed God’s deliverance urgently. Though we do not wrestle against flesh and blood and are encouraged to rather pray for our enemies (Matthew 5:44). We do wrestle against principalities, demonic forces etc (Ephesians 6:12) that seek to kill, steal and destroy us. Causing havoc to occur in our lives.
Today we are making warfare prayers. I want us to pray using these verses, let’s pray for confusion upon the camp of the enemy. Confusion upon the evil forces who seek our lives. Let’s pray for shame because all of their plans will not prevailed.
