32Â And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?”
I want us today to pray that when we share the gospel, speak a word to somebody and give them advice that the Holy Spirit will burn a fire in people’s hearts.
I want you to pray today “Holy Spirit let whenever I write a message to someone, pray for someone’s or preach your gospel that it burns a fire in their heart. Let something particular happen, and may everything I do be filled with your power and fire. Fill my mouth with fire. Make my mouth a flame of fire. Make my hands a flame of fire. Make my writing, music, poetry, art, talents, etc, a flame of fire so people are saved all for the glory of your name.”
This can also be a daily prayer. The scripture above reveals to us what happened in the hearts of those people as Jesus spoke to them. We know that Christians are called to be like Jesus and do greater works. Let our words be filled with the fire of the Holy Spirit to transform, impact, convict, etc, the lives of others.
