Daniel 6:10
ESV
10 When Daniel knew that the document had been signed, he went to his house where he had windows in his upper chamber open toward Jerusalem. He got down on his knees three times a day and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as he had done previously.
We will be challenging ourselves to pray 3 times a day this week. This is to help us get into that discipline of prayer. Many people struggle with prioritising prayer because they struggle with discipline.
We will challenge ourselves to pray first thing in the morning. You can either set an alarm or play worship music as soon as you wake up. When we wake up we often either go into a mode where we first reach for our phones or we feel so tired and hungry that we forget. I want our first reaction to be prayer.
Next, I wanted us to find a time to pray in the afternoon. You can try before you eat to take time to speak to God. Find a time that you’ll consecrate to talk to God.
Lastly, before you go to sleep I challenge you to pray. By praying I don’t mean just pray 20 seconds and then going to sleep. No, I’m talking about reflecting on your day, surrendering tomorrow, asking God questions and sharing what you learned from your day etc with God.
Don’t tell on yourself but ask God for help and stay committed sis.
Send a heart if you’ll be joining this challenge!
