Psalm 25:4-5
ESV
4 Make me to know your ways, O Lord;
teach me your paths.
5 Lead me in your truth and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all the day long.
This is a psalm David wrote when he was waiting on God.
I see verses 4-5 to be our way during our own waiting season. The heart that wants to be taught, guided, and led by God. I ask that all of us when we go before God in prayer to pray these 2 verses. Repeat these verses back to God during your trials and trust He will answer you.
Our season of waiting should also be a season where we seek to learn, grow, and be shaped into who God has called us to be in this season. Each season has a lesson, each season has something we can take away from it and when we humble ourselves and stop focusing on how uncomfortable it is, we stop to see what God could be doing behind the scenes. That’s when growth starts happening.
