Galatians 4:8-10
ESV
Paul’s Concern for the Galatians
8 Formerly, when you did not know God, you were enslaved to those that by nature are not gods. 9 But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless elementary principles of the world, whose slaves you want to be once more? 10 You observe days and months and seasons and years!
Let this be a message for you today not to turn back to the worthless elementary principles of the world. We as Christians continue to desire and work towards walking in the narrow path and God’s will. We shouldn’t return to the world.
This world isn’t our home, nor should we conform to the pattern of this world (Romans 12:2) rather we should desire to be more like Jesus.
May this verse encourage and edify you not to return but to remain walking on the narrow path.
