A Prayer over Your gifts and talents.
Dear Heavenly Father, I surrender my gifts and talents into Your hands. I know that You who calls are also faithful to guide and protect. Lord, I thank You for what You’ve placed inside of me. It’s all by grace and it’s for Your kingdom. Humble, give me the grace not to think highly of myself and my calling or look down on myself and my calling but guide me in humility. Lord, You said in Your word that when we are faithful in the little, You’ll trust us with much (Luke 16:10-12) and so I pray that You help me to be faithful in what You’ve already given me. Help me not to procrastinate waiting for a perfect moment that’s already now and help me to be bold enough to walk in faith in where Your Spirit is leading me. Help me to be sensitive to Your leading as I pray that all I do, say and think be led by Your Spirit. May all that I do be something that impacts the lives of people. Allow Your people’s hearts to be fertile, open and ready to receive the seeds of what You desire to be planted within them.
Let this gift You’ve given me do beyond what I can imagine all for your glory alone. Let everything, I do be out of humility and gratitude. Let my heart be filled with love and not filled with wrong motivates or be done with wrong intentions. Help me to remain in my walk with You, not falling into sin and compromising but remaining in your will and way. Lord, I pray that you may have Your way in me. Less of me and more of You, I must decrease, and You must increase. May your glory shine upon me. May your light be visible in me.
I thank you for everything you have done and shall do.
In Jesus name. Amen
