Proverbs 1:28-29

28 “Then they will call on me, but I will not answer;
They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me.
29 Because they hated knowledge
And did not choose the fear of the Lord,
Today we have a choice. A choice to choose God or this world. I urge you to choose God because this world is passing. Now that you have time, choose to live according to God’s word. Choose not to sin. Resist that sin. Choose not to listen to the voice of procrastination but listen to His voice.
Choose to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit when He prompts you to read the word, pray and worship. Choose not to listen to the voice of your flesh urging you to do things that can give you temporary happiness but lead to eternal death. Listen the urging of Christ for you to repent, turn from sin and walk according to righteousness.
I want you right now to tell God that you choose Him. You choose His voice. You choose that today you’ll follow Him. Today you’ll not go back to sin. Today you’ll prioritize Him. Today you’ll read the word before doing anything random. Today you’ll take time to pray. Today you’ll take time to be in His presence.
Because you choose Him.
