A lazy person’s way is blocked with briers, but the path of the upright is an open highway
Those who are lazy have a vision. In that vision you’ll focus will be on the many reasons why not.
As Christians, our focus shouldn’t be easily shaken. We keep our eyes on Jesus. Jesus is the word. We keep our focus on the word, His character and will.
Priotises need to be made straight. Some things are excusable, but some things are a result of our flesh. You’re too tired to pray but you’re not too tired to go on your phone and eat. Too busy to read two words properly? But you were able to watch your favourite show or video.
Look at the excuses you make for the things of God vs those you make for what you want. It often reveals how much is going on in our hearts.
If you love someone you will always make time for them. Somehow and in some way.
What God wants from us is our hearts. He wants that our hearts are so filled with love for Him that we will find any way to at least speak to Him and spend time with Him.
So I challenge you to check your focus sis. What are the obstacles against your relationship with God. When you raise your vision high above to see God, you’ll see how low those obstacles are in His sight. You’ll move forward if you keep your heart focused on Him.
