Psalm 119:133

133 Keep steady my steps according to your promise,
and let no iniquity get dominion over me.
I want us today to ask God to keep us steady. To be steady means not to divert. Not to go astray. Not to walk in a way contrary but to be steady is to keep the balance as you walk towards the goal, as you walk towards the other side.
Here the psalmist also prayed that no iniquity took over him. That no sin can be found in him that can take over him.
This is a prayer so we can keep walking the path that God has for us and arrive at the area where God sees us. Nothing should lead us astray and no sin should overcome us. No lust should overcome us. No perversion should overcome us. No sin and wickedness should overcome us. Let this be the cry of our hearts that God keeps us in His paths according to His will and way. We pray He helps us to not be under the oppression of evil and that no sin is found in us.
